Water

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."

Jeremiah 17:8,9

For a person who knows pistachio nuts about computer science, I've got to admit, the chapter on 'computing machines in the future' from Feynman's The Pleasure of Finding Things Out was both mind-boggling and fascinating at the same time. He used brilliant analogies for the really technical bits and though I couldn't understand every detail, the overall concept was clear enough for me to grasp (before calling it quits and passing out on my bed).

An attendance of six (!) (for the cycling at East Coast Park) and eight (!!) (for dinner at Raffles City), I think, was not bad at all, considering how difficult it is to assemble a group of 4-5 friends for a dinner/ movie/ sleepover. Diane was quite right about equating "wobbly legs" with "unfit". Was already feeling the lactic acid build-up on the MRT ride home. Needless to say, the rest of the night was spent collapsed in a chair (easing gradually into horizontal position) nursing my achey breaky legs. Not a good sign at all.
