On my way back from lab yesterday, I heard strains of music floating up from the multipurpose hall in PGP. At first I thought it was an invited band performing for some event, but then I recognized the chorus of the song that was being played:

Consuming fire, fan into flame a passion for Your name...

Out of curiosity, I snuck past the hall and peeked in to catch a glimpse of what was going on. Sure enough, there was a band on stage playing and clusters of people huddled together in small circles on the floor - praying?

The music brought a smile to my face. Such an apt song.

It's a song for everyone in this residence - For those in Christ, as well as for those people who need God, but don't know they do.

Spirit of God, fall in this place. Lord have your way with us.
