Something today disappointed.
Someone lingered with anxious eyes.
Somehow intentions soured.
Somewhere, someone squeezed and suffocated.
Someplace secret, revisited.
Sometimes I wonder.
Something started out good, and ended bad.

It's all a mess and I can't quite put my finger on it.
